Cobblestone Homeowners Association Architectural Guidelines
Cobblestone is a community that has a Board of Directors and an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) whose responsibility is to enforce all Covenants and Guidelines as explained in the Association's By-laws and Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs). The purpose of these guidelines is to provide consistent guidance to owners regarding requirements for modifications and additions to property in the community, and matters of particular concern to the ACC when considering applications for approval of such modifications and additions. Additionally, these guidelines set forth various restrictions on other matters relating to community standards and the overall appearance of property in the community.
These rules and regulations are in addition to those covenants, conditions and restrictions for Cobblestone set forth in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. If there is a conflict between the provisions of the CC&Rs and these guidelines, or if these guidelines remain silent, the provisions of the CC&Rs shall control.
THE ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE PLANS IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION AND MAY APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE PLANS BASED ON PURELY AESTHETIC REASONS. If a resident disagrees with the findings of the committee, they may request a hearing with the MASTER BOARD.
All information pertaining to the ACC can be found in the CCR'S which are posted on the Cobblestone website. The address is sccobblestone.com. Click on the Bylaws and Covenants. Up to date ACC forms are also on the website for you to print.
The committee will meet as often as necessary in order to make our turn around as quick as possible.
